Canada Winter Games: Naciuk Earns 2nd

February 23, 2011 – The first alpine events at the Canada Winter Games kicked off today in Wentworth, Nova Scotia with the GS.
Top Albertans were Tony Naciuk (CARC) winning Silver, and Andrea Turner (NATC), finishing 4th. Logan Thackray (BANFF/AST) finished 7th, followed by Thea Miles (NATC) in 12th, Jenna McIntyre (LKLSE) in 17th and Kaitlyn Verge (SUNSH) in 21st. On the men’s side, Taylor Dawson (FAST) was 16th, Russel Shamsudeen (BANFF) 18th, Rob Greig (PANO) 24th and Brydon Coombe (PANO) 32nd.
