The Nancy Greene/Husky Snow Stars programs are for children ages 6 - 10 yr. old. This is a high quality, fun focused program that introduces the kids to more advanced skills and provides them with an introduction to some racing experience. The racing at this level is mostly social in an atmosphere where the kids are introduced to running gates without worrying about time or competition. Children in this program work through the skills and challenges set out in the Husky Snowstars system developed by Alpine Canada.

We offer two (2) programs at this level:
REGULAR 12 WEEK PROGRAM
This program begins on the 1st Sunday in January, and runs for 12 consecutive weeks. In the event of extreme cold, we replace lost days by adding days onto the end. By doing so we make sure a full 12 week program is completed.- 20 SESSION - 12 WEEK PROGRAM (+ 8 Evenings at COP)
This program runs on the same days as the 12 week program with the addition of 8 weekday evenings at Canada Olympic Park for a total of 20 sessions. 12 of the sessions are at Nakiska on Sunday. These are full days. The 8 evenings are 2 hour sessions. The evening sessions are broken down in to 3/4 free ski development, and 1/4 gate skiing.
Please note: Children must be at least 7 years old and have a minimum of Husky Snow Stars Level 2 to enter this program.
Start Date: Sunday 10th January 2010, Nakiska. Wednesday nights start on 20th January 2010.
