The Snoflyers focus is FUNdementals for 4 - 11 yr olds and its programs will help encourage active participation in ski racing. Focusing on mastering fundamental movement skills, agility, balance, co-ordination, motor development, flexibility, and on simple rules and ethics of sport, Snoflyers parallels the developmental approach identified by Alpine Canada Alpin in the Long term Athlete Development Plan (Aim 2 Win).

FAST by Calgary Alpine is a club devoted to the promotion of skill, athletics and developing a lifelong love of the sport for our young aspiring ski racers. FAST programs are available for athletes ages 11 to 16, include our U14 racing program along with all mountain skills program and is strongly aligned with the Canadian Sport for Life and Alpine Canada’s AIM2 model of long term athlete development (LTAD).

CARC includes a program for our 14-15 (U16) year old athletes and is a continuation of the kinder ski racing experience from FAST, and a program for athletes aged 16+ (U18) with the objective to help develop strong individuals that have the mental and physical ability to excel at Alpine racing and are committed to developing these skills in a positive, well structured, team environment.
