Perfecting Your Racing Skills
This program is for 14 and 15 year old athletes and is a continuation of our U14 program. The program begins with regular dryland training starting in June, and ski camps in July at Mt. Hood and in early November in Sun Peaks. Dryland sessions are varied and work on improving physical awareness, motor development, cardiovascular capacity, strength and flexibility. All of these elements combine to build strong, healthy athletes who will be more efficient on snow.
This 120+ day program, including a 3 day Christmas Camp, is comprised of two weekday evenings at COP with weekends, and the occasional weekday, spent training at Nakiska or away at races. Extra days of skiing generally get added onto race weekends and additional dryland and ski camps are offered. technical free skiing, drill courses, a number of different race styles and of course, even more fun!
